About Dan Ryan Builders

Dan Ryan BuildersThese values are the cornerstone of our company and the Dan Ryan Builders Story. Dan Ryan was born into a family of homebuilders. His grandfather was a homebuilder in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Later, his uncle, Ed, founded Ryan Homes and his father, Jim, founded Ryland Homes. Having graduated from James Madison University, Dan worked in various capacities for both companies. In 1990, he founded Dan Ryan Builders in Mount Airy, Maryland. No stranger to hard work, Dan grew his business from just one home the first year to over 12,000 homes built in competitive new home markets in the Mid-Atlantic.

For almost three decades, our commitment to customer satisfaction has been at the core of our company and the new homes we build. Consistently, 93% or more of Dan Ryan Builders’ customers would recommend Dan Ryan Builders to a family member or friend looking for a new home. Since 2008, the company has been awarded the prestigious “Builder of Integrity” award by QBW Warranty Corporation. We invest in superior suppliers and installers and before we consider your home finished, we hire 3rd party quality inspectors to inspect it. Strong traditions and strong values help us understand that your home is more than an address – it’s the backdrop to your life.
